There was obviously a major shakeup at the top of this week’s CFRA poll thanks to losses by Boise State and Stanford.  LSU and Oklahoma State retain the # 1 and # 2 rankings and are now followed by Alabama, Oregon, and Oklahoma.   Overall, the CFRA top 10 looks very similar to the top 10 in the BCS and major  human polls, with the exception of Stanford (who is a little higher in the CFRA) and  Clemson (who is a little lower).  Furthermore, there are two ties in this week’s poll and one break of at least 40 points.  The ties occurred at the # 19 spot between TCU and Michigan and at #22 between Penn State and Florida State.  The major break in the poll can be found immediately after the second tie between # 22 (Penn State/Florida State) and # 24 (Notre Dame).
