The College Football Researchers Association’s final regular season poll has been released, and it possesses some monumental characteristics.  First of all, this week’s poll marks the first time since the organization was re-created three years ago that there is an undisputed # 1 ranked team in the country.  LSU has garnered all of this week’s CFRA first-place votes which is something that no team has accomplished at any point in the past three seasons.  In regard to the epic battle between Alabama and Oklahoma State for # 2, this week’s rankings have produced a shocking outcome to that dispute.  All the votes have been tallied, and the Cowboys and the Tide ended the season TIED for the # 2 ranking.  This situation will definitely make the postseason CFRA poll particularly interesting if Alabama and Oklahoma State were to both win their respective bowl games.  There is also one other tie in this week’s poll and it is at #23 between Penn State and West Virginia.
