As discussed in the Sprint Football Preseason Poll, the CFRA has begun voting on and publishing periodic rankings for collegiate sprint football.
Sprint Football is a lightweight version of football with a 183-pound weight limit. The sport features two conferences: the College Sprint Football League (CSFL), founded in 1934 and based in New England, and the upstart Midwest Sprint Football League (MSFL).

Bellarmine, Calumet, Quincy, and Midway are battling for playoff seeding as the postseason approaches, with the playoffs set to begin October 31. Every game down the stretch could prove critical as these teams jockey for position.

Navy is in an excellent position to reach the CSFL Championship Game, scheduled for the weekend of November 21. If Army falters, St. Thomas Aquinas and Cornell will be ready to step in and challenge Navy for the championship.
