With the release of the first edition of the BCS standings, there is now another major poll which we can use to compare the CFRA results to. Please scroll down to the bottom of this entry for that analysis. As far as ties and major breakings points go, there are two ties this week and one major break of 30 or more points. The ties occur at # 12 (Florida State and Missississpi State) and # 21 (Ohio and Boise State), and the major break occurs at # 5 (between SEC counterparts: Florida and LSU). Interestingly enough, this is the second-straight week Boise has been locked in a tie with a fellow non-BCS powerhouse (last week: Louisiana Tech).
