Week 5 College Football Researchers Association (CFRA) Poll

For the fifth-straight week, Alabama holds on to the # 1 ranking in the CFRA poll.  The one tie in this week’s poll occurs at # 21 between the two brainiac universities of Northwestern and Stanford.  On the other hand, there are three major breaks of 20 or more points, and they exist between spots # 7 and 8 (South Carolina and Kansas State), # 11 and 12 (Florida and TCU), and # 19 and 20 (Mississippi State and Nebraska).
