For the first-time since 2014, the CFRA has selected a different “best four teams” than the playoff committee at the end of the regular season. That season TCU got the nod at the # 4 spot despite the committee controversially selecting Ohio State. This season, the CFRA has made a statement by ranking the UCF Knights as the # 3 ranked team in the country at the conclusion of the regular season. It will thus be interesting to see if they can hold off # 4 Notre Dame or # 5 Oklahoma, if the Knights beat LSU in the Fiesta, and # 1 Alabama and # 2 Clemson falter in the playoffs. Without further ado, here is this year’s CFRA Final Regular Season Poll.
