The college football regular season finished up yesterday, despite a multitude of delays, postponements, and cancellations caused by Covid-19. In the end, our organization ended up with the same top three teams as the playoff committee and major human polls, but we have a big shakeup at # 4. That is where the Cincinnati Bearcats are found with a considerable six point advantage over the last playoff participant, Notre Dame. If Cincy can win impressively over Georgia in the Peach Bowl, you wonder if they could possibly stay on top of the Irish for the # 1 spot if Notre Dame somehow won the playoff. Only time will tell with that. Without further ado, here is this year’s CFRA Midseason Poll. First-place votes are in parentheses next to each team.
